It seems like just yesterday we were ringing in 2016 with a list of goals we hoped to pursue and accomplish throughout the year. Time flies, it’s true, and we’re staring down 2017 in just a few weeks. With all of the “End of The Year” articles floating around discussing what sort of things we should aim to accomplish in 2017, it can be hard to piece a part what we need to focus on as SASSY women.
Luckily, I’m here to keep you supported and prepared for life’s most unexpected twists and turns. Here are 3 ways all SASSY women can get prepared and stay prepared for 2017:
- Schedule Time Off
Woah – did we just go there? We know scheduling time-off is something that isn’t exactly at the front of our minds in January, but now is actually the best time to get in that time-off planning before the summer months hit. You deserve sporadic vacations and breaks from your hectic work, both inside the office and inside your home. Take time in the next few weeks to carve out a few pre-planned vacations for 2017 that you set in stone before the New Year takes us all by storm. Also, don’t forget to schedule mini vacations, even if you are just taking a day to unplug from your phone and technology just to soak in a warm bubble bath.
- Celebrate YOU
You’ve accomplished A LOT in 2016. You’ve done your best to balance your work, life, community and family – and you’ve done it all with grace. Right now is a perfect time to reflect on your accomplishments in 2016. Be proud, identify what you did to be successful, and bring that skillset with you into 2017.
- Set Goals
Everyone sets goals for the New Year – but I want you to be someone who not only sets them, but also achieves them. Sit down and write out your top 3 goals you want to complete before 2018. Regardless of how out of reach they may seem, sketch out the 1-2-3 steps that need to be pursued before those goals are in reach. Envision a 2017 timeline and stick to it. YOU can do anything. Find an accountability partner that will hold you to it.
Ready for 2017? Follow these 3 tips to be ahead of your game before that clocks strikes midnight on New Years Eve.
Now this is how to live a SASSY life in 2017!
