It’s time for the next letter in our SASSY acronym – what does the second “S” stand for?
The S in SASSY Stands for Strategic.
The core idea behind being a Strategic Woman is to be constantly seeking out ways to streamline our work and personal lives, to create support systems that benefit us and others, and to plan ahead with an eye for the future when we set short and long term goals.
Being Strategic is about:
- Learning how to set achievable goals that stretch us without snapping us, and measuring our achievement when we reach and surpass them helps us design the life we truly want to live.
- Results. For everything you do, ask yourself – what result will I achieve? It’s ok if the result is small, silly, or self-directed. We all have personal needs that should be met to keep us happy, healthy, and sane – just avoid things that only have negative results.
- The blueprint for our success, both individually as SASSY women and together as a SASSY community, involves being able to live each day as an example to ourselves and others. Don’t forget to pick yourself up and forgive yourself when you make mistakes – that’s part of life!
- Greatness comes in many forms – when we deliberately live truthfully and joyfully, we see ourselves shine in our home life, our work life, in our relationships with others, and in our respect and love for ourselves.
Suits, Stilettos, and Lipstick focuses on support for one another, accountability to one another, integrity towards one another, and authenticity with ourselves. As women, we are already wired to be strategic and systematic in our day to day lives, juggling work, home, family and relationships in spaces where support can be meager at times. When we join together, our ability to strategize a better future for all of us becomes a possibility!
Being Strategic is how you live a SASSY life!
