Dr. Elizabeth King, Ed.D., LCSW, CHt, is a holistic mental health expert, educator, author, speaker, philanthropist and business leader. She is the Co-Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer of the Suits, Stilettos & Lipstick Foundation and has spent over thirty-five years strengthening communities and empowering women and children.
Through the Foundation’s leadership initiatives, including the Heidi Dennis Scholarship, the LIFT Mentorship Program, and women’s empowerment and leadership conferences, Dr. King has supported and mentored thousands of women on their paths to education, leadership, personal growth and finding their purpose.
Dr. King is also the co-founder of the John and Elizabeth’s Toy Drive, which has grown into one of the largest holiday toy distribution efforts in South Florida. Over the past twenty four years, the Toy Drive has delivered hope and joy to more than 90,000 low income children.
A survivor of polio at age three, Dr. King brings a deeply personal understanding of resilience and perseverance to her work. This lived experience fuels her philosophy, including Lipstick Attitude©, a mindset rooted in confidence, courage, and the intentional choice to show up fully, even on the hardest days. She is the author of Dr. King’s Simple Guide to Holistic Health and is currently preparing to release a new book on resilience, expanding on her life’s work.
Deeply committed to civic leadership, Dr. King has supported numerous community organizations, including nearly two decades of involvement with the Central Beach Alliance, five of those years serving on its board. Her individual honors include the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Hispanic Women of Distinction, and the Prestigious Women’s Award, among many others. Under her leadership, the Suits, Stilettos & Lipstick Foundation has been honored with the Key to Broward County and official proclamations from both Broward County and the City of Fort Lauderdale designating August 25th as Suits, Stilettos & Lipstick Day.
