RISE, an integral part of Project Kids, aims to build resilience and foster leadership in low-income, at-risk middle school youth, ages 11-14.  Participants will learn to recognize both their value and self-worth. Focus is on building character strengths, embracing positivity and nurturing their ability to recover and to thrive, no matter the challenges they may face on their journey through life.

The four (4) pillars of the RISE curriculum are necessary to guide and shape at-risk youths into resourceful and resilient adults. The pillars are:

  • Relationships
  • Independence
  • Strategic
  • Empowerment
