Biography
I was born in Puerto Rico, the seventh of eight children. At 8 years old, my family moved to New York City where I was raised.
But for my freshman year in college, I attended New York City public schools from first grade through New York University School of Law.
In 1983 I moved to Hawaii, where my husband and I opened a law practice. I began practicing Family Law, from which I retired three years ago. I continue to provide volunteer legal services to those who cannot afford legal representation.
