The Heidi Dennis Wonder Woman Scholarship is a one-time, need-based scholarship that provides financial assistance to women who are pursuing higher education or vocational studies in order to support themselves and their families. It was founded in honor of  Heidi Dennis, who served as chairwoman for Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick Foundation for 6 years. Heidi was a local industry icon in the hotel business and a true inspiration to all who knew her.  Her dedication to women’s empowerment stretched throughout her entire life.

Heidi was the epitome of resilience and leadership. Even through multiple bouts with breast cancer, she always found ways to make a difference.  Sadly Heidi lost her 2.5-year battle in 2020, but through this scholarship and the many lives that she touched, her legacy will live on forever. Fortunately, Heidi was able to meet the very first recipient of the scholarship.

This $1500 grant may be applied to education-related expenses such as tuition, books and supplies, testing and graduation fees, and more. Multiple scholarships will be awarded every year.  Applications and a letter of recommendation from your educational institution are required to be considered.
