What is the mission of Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick® (SSL) Foundation?

We are a movement to empower women and children from all walks of life to be resilient, self-confident and purposeful leaders, through education, mentorship and community outreach.

Why was SSL Foundation founded?

Because women across the globe, no matter what race, social-economic status, level of education or level of accomplishment suffer from low self-worth which makes them more susceptible to professional disengagement, burnout, isolation, sexual harassment, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and addictions.

SSL Foundation was founded to provide comprehensive programs that build self-worth, resiliency, and a sense of purpose through self and professional development, mentorship, volunteering/community outreach, and leadership building. Our mission includes children because they are the catalyst for positive change for generations to come.

What are the benefits of being a member of Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick Foundation?

Is SSL Foundation a professional or social organization?

It is both and then some. SSL Foundation provides women the tools and the connections for them to grow professionally, personally and spiritually. We recognize that every woman has different goals and needs, but what unites us is the desire to support each other.

Is Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick a 501c3 nonprofit organization?

Yes. Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick and the Lipstick Foundation have merged and now we are Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower women and children.

Are men allowed to become members?

Absolutely. We welcome men that support the empowerment of women and children.

If I am unable to attend an event that I paid for, may I get a refund?

You may cancel your registration at anytime by notifying us, but there are no refunds, no exceptions. Carryover of your payment to future events is also not permitted. You may however send someone in your place for the event registered, as long as you notify us in advance.

How do I renew my membership?

Your membership will renew automatically on your anniversary date. You may cancel anytime before your renewal date. You will receive a renewal notice 1 month and 1 week before your renewal date. Once your renewal is completed you may cancel your membership, but you will not receive a refund.

Can I attend an event even though I am not a member?

Yes! We love having guests! Unfortunately, unless your are Premium member you will not receive a member discount.
